This sensory experience extends over more than 300 square meters. It will captivate visitors with huge jellyfish exhibits, interactive activities, incredible lighting installations and educational facts about the gelatinous sea creatures.
The Visitors will be wrapped up in the beauty of a jellyfish invasion, surrounded by thousands of fascinating creatures and spectacular light projections on multiple screens, including a unique spherical globe filled with swarms of jellyfish.
The journey continues to the Jelly Lab, where visitors can learn rare facts about the jellyfish life cycle and take a look behind the scenes at Melbourne staff tending to the flowers of these graceful sea creatures (and sometimes dangerous).
In the third zone, children and adults can escape the invasion by crawling into a unique cylindrical tank filled with swinging jellyfish. At SEA LIFE Melbourne’s Art Aquarium, kids can design their colourful jellyfish, which will come to life on a giant wall projection.
Ocean Invaders will also educate visitors about the causes of the increase (or invasion) in the population of certain jellyfish species in our oceans and the actions people can take to limit these exponential and sometimes problematic population increases.

We didn’t do any activities but loved every moment of our 3 hours there. The staff were terrific. One woman in the Penguin area was just amazing with my son. She did a little sign language with him, then got a whiteboard out and wrote to him behind the glass. I made his day. Thank you so much for such a fantastic experience. We will be back.
